I adore Satisfied. 
But I adored 'On the Couch' too, from Musicology. They are both dripping with soul - soul that is lacking in run-of-the-mill rubbish from those 2 albums like BL&B and Call my Name | |

It's cool. It's another song about anticipation, much in the vein of "On the Couch" but inferior to that song, IMO.
The latter song had the same format but was far better at conveying dynamics and -- by extension -- the urgency of the lyrics. "Satisfied" seems more affected than authentic, more bluster than blues. | |

Seeing him do it on AI made me really appreciate it. Satisfied is a great song. It's everything that On The Couch should have been. A great song to get your love groove on. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

I'll take "Call my Name" anyday ove4r "Satidfied" I love the bass line in call my name and the groove. "Satisfied" sounds like an old cover song without any Prince touches on it. ______________________________________________
