Well was emancipation and rave his last big payday b4 Musicology? Did Prince do well financially when he was doing the hit and run tour???? WOW - 45 million - where did you get this info? He always says "I might not be #1 on the chart but I'm #1 at the bank." I read somewhere that he receives about 5 million per from Royalties. Prime aka The Kid

How rich is Prince?
I really don't know. But I'ld bet that if he never sold another album or concert ticket... he'ld still earn 10-12 mil a year in royalties alone. He may not have owned his masters fromthe WB days.. but he still gets paid every moment any record he ever wrote and/or produced gets played on the radio.. or shown on video... and this includes records made by other artist which he wrote and/or produced But of course he does sell records.. he does get paid for live performances.. and he does sign big contracts so on any given year he's probably worth 2-3 hundred mil | |
