I was walking past some posters of Mamma Mia! on my way home when I saw a guy wearing his hair like Prince in Graffiti Bridge. I chuckled as I thought "Maybe he,s on his way to Prince - The Musical" Naturally, I couldn't help but fantasize about what such a musical would be like. Here's what I came up with :

PRINCEF___ - THE MUSICAL

Since Prince would want some cash if I made his life into a musical, this one would be about Prince fans, and specifically bootleggers and their clients. Unfortunately, I cannot reveal the plot, but let's just say it would be like Blue Velvet meets Purple Rain. As I doubt I could obtain the rights to the original recordings, I would have all the Prince music performed by two bands (one for rock and the other for the rest...) that would join forces on some songs, but it would be deliberately subdued, since it's pointless to try to top the originals. I'd rather make it a little trashy and imperfect...with characters to match.

And just so you don't sue me, all resemblance with persons living or dead would be pure coincidence.
