Those Spiders Get Next 2 u? Acknowledgin God

'Who's gonna save us when them spiders get next 2 u?
Spinning their sticky webs around what u do
We gotta safeguard against 4ked tongue and the treachery of the wicked 1
Get up, come on let's do something'

I'm not gonna explain these genius, ironic or tuthful lyrics, cuz we know.

But this song sounds funky, and poses a new dimension; there is things in the universe dat have a greater understanding than the primitive logic of humans.

It is said in holy scripture dat God is the creater of all beigns. Each has its own place and appitude/intellect. The spider in religious scriptures is seen as most sacred/holy being of all-time. With abilites we cannot understand.

God Bless.

Don't ya just love it? He's created yet another genre of music - "gospel funk". A couple of these songs could downright be performed in a church, and many others could be played in front of G-audiences, and could be interpreted as either spiritual and/or sexual. Perhaps this is what Prince has been striving for all along - to find that perfect mix of spirituality and sexuality.

Well said. Prince has always fused and made new genres. No one on his level.

With all due respect, on the gospel funk tip, the Winans, the Edwin Hawkins Singers, Rev. Milton Brunson & the Thompson Community Choir, John P. Kee, Commissioned, Fred Hammond, Hezekiah Walker, even Take 6, Allen & Allen and Ben Tankard are among the host of artists so much more deserving of that mantle and precede Prince's foray into this arena by decades.

A bit off-topic, but when my nephews were younger, they used to pronounce "spiders" "piders". lol

Where?

To which holy scripture are you referring?

I can only find two references to spiders in the Bible - neither of which suggests they are the most sacred creatures of all time.

I presume it must either be in "The Gospel According To St Aragog" or Dan Brown's forthvcoming blockbuster, 'The Incey Wincey Code".

wink

Forgive me 4 not explain myself.

The translation was taken from Persian & The Quran. Where spiders and such insects are detailed immensely.

Before we verify this or start an argument. Most facts in Quran are disproven if calculated Scientifically.

Trust me, the facts are genuine, but the earier Pesian scriptures are just opinions/psycology.

Yes i am a muslim, but please dont mistake me 4 those terrorist loons. I am open/wide minded.

2 tell u the truth the beautiful thing about the Quran is its message. Manily the purpose of non-humans place, beings. If ur a muslim u can only eat 3 type of animals, simpaly. The animals u eat if they experience pain before their death, it is an unforgivable sin.

Animal testing is against all Islamic Principles. A true muslim does not eat meat, cuz blood is on his hands. Ulike are bel;oved prophet.
