If it really was Cora on drums, her husband on bass and Mr.Hayes on synth/organ live, well there was no involvement from the house band, because, having listened back to it, that is all the perfomance of both Lolita and Satisfied was made of - drum, bass and syth/organ. No other instruments, no guitar or horns. Quite stripped down really. | |

He sang a kick ass version of Lolita - no instument just him and the twinz Than slowed it down but kept ever1 on the edge of their seat as always with Satisfied the ending was cool with the twinz backin him on vocals and the very ending ILOVE The way he ends it with his voice makes the crowd go NUTS-O!!! OK - I was in the hospital last week and missed out on all the gossip and "look outs". So there I am laying in that damn bed watching Idol because my suite mate was too and then he walks out. 
My first thought was NO SHIT! HE DID IT! And the second was I can't wait to go home and read the reactions on the .org!
I'm home now catching up and getting better.

the GOOD thing is, the TWINZ are worth looking at, they can sing (i think) and they compliment in the old fashioned Prince way.
Being able to be on stage and to cope with Prine is what matters! They're more dirty and sexy than Tamar. Though tamar is sexy, but less fit in dirty with Prince's stage act. looking forward to a European tour now.. Well we Europeans don't know much about the A.Idol show. I think the performace was tight, and the arrangement of the songs work great in a live performance! maybe even better then on record (lately..). | |
