I saw Prince on Jay Leno about a year ago and Jay was obviously an admirer of the Man calling him the "greatest blah blah blah in modern music history" sorry can't recall the exact quote

Micheal called his son Prince...That kinda leaves me wondering if he isn't one of the bigs "fams" ever...

Can anyone recall what others stars say and think of Prince?

There are some off the top of my head that I can give ya... Keith Richards doesn't think much of Prince, and compared him to The Monkees once.

Nile Rodgers (at least at one time, I don't know about now) says Prince is the best musician on the planet (blah, blah, yada).

Clapton has much respect for him.

Miles Davis too ('Prince is a genius' blah, blah, yada).

Jeff Beck once told his band (at a rehearsal), "Let's do something Prince would like." And also said in a magazine interview "I'll have a pint of what he's drinking."

Although David Bowie loves Prince, he had a couple of critical things to say about him over the past 5 or 6 years (one in regard to Prince's reaction to online fans that trade his bootlegs), the other in regard to his music during the latter half of the 90s.
