Maybe it's too soon, but I usually get tons of emails about Prince performing, before and after but with American Idol it was a big secret before and even afterwards, NPG isn't sending out reviews and Photos of the performance like they did with the Brits and NAACP..

I wonder why.. maybe because he doesn't want the NPGMC to know he did American Idol? Or is he ashamed?

his performance definitely smelled of one that was not heartfelt, that's for sure.

The opening page of npgmc has a pic from last nite.

This fucken show is briging out mental illness in droves....

I think he probably doesn't want to highlight it, I mean, I think the whole Corinthians thing was a way to say how he disagrees with it but was coerced into it (however lame you might think it was a way of saying it! ).

That said, maybe once sales spike or audiences figures are released they'll do a press release 'Prince was the special guest and performed 2 songs from the #1 hit 3121 to an estimated global audience of 200 million people' etc etc.
