gets my vote from that album, but if we're going literal I have to agree with the raft of you that voted for "Computer Blue". There was a bunch for my other favorite "The Beautiful Ones" Not so much as a bad note on that record or any of the b-sides for that matter. | |

The Whole Album, any B-side and unreleased track was the best. But I have a fondness for Purple Rain and When Doves Cry cause those were the songs that made me love Prince. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

The Beautiful Ones is an interesting choice. Of course it's perfect on the LP, but I've seen videos of the Purple Rain tour and sometimes this song would lose its power when performed live.
The screaming in the song probably took a toll on his voice at that time. It's a great song, I'm just saying that it could song very different when performed live.     | |
