2 songs - one old, one new Hi all,
I would like to share my latest song with you all. Its called 'Mission' & is inspired by Prince's version of 'Carwash' & a little Jamiroqui. Ive tried to go for a different feel to the last one & you can listen to it here. Also, I would like to share an older track with you. I lost a lot of my songs when my computer crashed last year & some of which are lost forever. You may have heard a clip of this song on the site &, untill now, that was all I had left of it. I sent my friend a copy when I finished it & after all this time, he still had it & just sent it to me  . I was 15 when I recorded this one, its called 'A Moment Of Ur Time' & its inspired by the song 'Savior' from the Emancipation album. Listen to it here.

I've wanted to check your stuff out for some time now, but you use Real Audio and I won't even think about bothering installing something with such horrifying sound quality.
It'd be a seriously great idea for your carreer if you would consider uploading your stuff to MP3 rather than the inferior Real Audio format. There's some constructive criticism... | |

The reason I use real audio is that it can be streamed quickly & cannot be downloaded. Im releasing an album soon & some of these tracks will be on it & so it would be pointless releasing an album if ya'll had my mp3s. All songs on the site are in real audio & mp3 formats but the ones from the album are only in real audio

Blame mp3.com, They have to approve tracks b4 they go on a CD (i think they do this to check theres no swearing & stuff) & they've done that but now they've gotta approve the CD. How long does it take to listen to a song & push a button? Im expecting it to be ready in about 5-6 days. (Fingers crossed )

Beautiful as usual Lewis.
I can say I knew you when... Man! You can tell your a Prince fan, especially when you play the guitar. You sure know how to keep the 'head bobbin', something my mentor taught me, 'never bore your audience' Your music doesn't do that, it tells a story, very fitting. It's also hard to define, which is good, that means you're unique, and you have your own style. If I could put a label on it, I would have to say... Funk/Jazz/Rock/almost Soul/R&B. Like Prince, you would have to search the entire Wreck Stow to find your album, because it's not easily defined. Keep it up Lew, you're gonna make it. I think you have alot of supporters here. My guitar playing is very much based around Prince & his influences (Jimi Hendrix & the likes). Its hard doing instrumental tracks at the moment because there is deffinatly the problem of boring your audience. Im hoping the tracks will sound even better with vocals as they were intended. I try to be as unique as I can. Mainly, I try to stay inspired by Prince & not get too obsessed with his sound like some of the musicians Ive met. Mainly becuase Im a long way from achieving that sound lol. But its very flattering that you consider my music to be unique & that you dig my unique brand of funk
