Listen...I'm confused here. Aren't we all (well, most of us anyway) fans of Prince and his music? And, isn't one of the best parts of being a fan getting the chance to witness his genius through live performances? Call me crazy, but wasn't last night one of those times?

If you were...say...a heroin addict, and you were given a free fix...would you then complain about the circumstances in which it was given to you? Would you degrade the supplier because you didn't like space you were given to administer that fix. Why couldn't you simply enjoy the high for what it is? Music is much easier that way...

We all know P contradicts himself on a regular basis. Why should this be any different? Like some people have already pointed out...this is the same guy who appeared on the Muppet Show for heaven's sake! Did he "Sell Out" then?

True, they bitched but yet they watched it and taped it as well.

there are a variety of threads discussing this already, you know.

ultimately it's the man's own choice to be there. for whatever reason.

and to be honest, i think it's rather silly to expect much artistic
integrity from prince after all we've seen him do over the past decade.

but that's besides the point. he did a good performance and if it helps
to sell more copies of his album, good for him.

what the fuck do we know anyway.

if anything, more album sales get him more money and more power to do
his own thing, on his own terms.
