Prince's Toronto home

I recently spent a few days in Toronto while on vacation and made it a point to find Prince's home. It was easy to find and only a few minutes from my hotel in Don Valley. It now has a chain link fence around it with tarps covering the fence so you can't see in very well. I took pics as best I could. It is on the most expensive street in Toronto. It looked to be a one story bungalow surrounded by many large trees. Interestingly enough it sits fairly close to the road. I noticed security cameras in the trees. The house is tan with white trim. Very contemporary looking. I didn't see any sign of him unfortunately. Has anyone else seen this house recently?

I wasn't stalking. I was curious to see what the house looked like. If I had seen him I would not have bothered him, I have more respect than that.

The chain link fence is probably temporary. He'll probably have either a brick fence or tall iron security fence installed to keep fans from getting to close or wandering on his property.

Also, I didn't even get out of the car. I didn't feel it was appropriate to walk on his property.

Many of the houses had rod iron fences. Two houses down they are building a huge home that is gorgeous. Lucky neigbors.

Prince it's time to sell the Toronto Home before you even Inhabit it! Already the Fans are staking you out taking pictures.. Time to sell. You ain't gonna have the Peace you want. They shouldn't have made his address public knowledge. Oh,if only he could have some Privacy! Can't do a thing without someone nosying around him. Leave him alone already. Let him live his life. Admire him at the Concerts, but don't start Stalking Him..There ARE No Stalking Laws. Let him Breath! Think of how you would feel if someone Followed you,or was outside of your house that you didn't want. remember keep it all in PERSPECTIVE then it will be o.k. If it is harmless then it will be o.k. Respect His Privacy and Respect him as a HUMAN Being!

I wasn't following him nor was I stalking him. Driving down a public street and looking at his home FROM MY CAR is not invading his privacy. I guess anyone who drives by Paisley Park in Chanhassen is a stalker then. Give me a break. I was in Toronto 2 days and spent one minute of those 48 hours driving by his house. Yeah, that's stalking alright. Grow up!

Prince has all the privacy he needs at his home in Chanhassen. People are used to him there, so nobody bothers him anymore. In the Purple Rain days, fans used to go up and ring the bell on the gates at the purple house where he used to live, but that was years ago. Nobody does that anymore.

I would never step foot on his property, let alone ring the bell if it were accessible. Nor would I follow him. Now that's totally disrespectful.

I knew the address from a thread on this website when he bought the house. Also, someone included a picture before he installed the gate. It was the same house.

Prince's Toronto home sounds cool I'd expect nothing more and nothing less from the artist's creative imagination I'm sure to him his home is a dream come true.

Do you REALLY think Prince would buy a house on such a visible street if he at all felt that his security and privacy would be compromised? Give him and Mani some credit.

Add this one to the "stalker files." Would you like people driving by just to look at your house? People you don't know? I bet there would be a "Neighborhood Watch" meeting shortly.

Giving Mani credit for what? I give her credit for going after what she wants and getting it at a young age, but that's all I'm going to give her credit for.

Ignore the nasty comments paisley. He's famous. In LA you can go on tours and see homes of the elite. As long as you used your discretion (which it sounds like you did), I'm sure it's fine.

It sounds beautiful. Is the area as pretty as they say? I personally love Chanhassen. Especially Byerly's...what a store. But I hear it sucks in the Winter.

I think it's wonderful that he and Mani are "nesting".

Waterhead, people drive by the homes of people they don't know all the time admiring the house style, landscaping, etc.. If any of you finger pointers accusing me were 5 min. from his house and knew the address, you would have driven by too. The difference between you and I is, I stayed in the car and you would have walked on his property or jumped the fence. Give me a break! I think Waterhead and Vagina are just jealous they weren't in Toronto.

Berry, the street he lives on in Toronto is very nice. Lots of trees. There are some huge houses on his street. His is not the largest. For Prince's privacy, I'm not going to say the address or the roads to get there.
