Ebay Rip Off Warning to Ebayers: Theres a bloke on Ebay (watersideliving) selling The Beautiful Experience Live from Paisley Park 94. It is billed as genuine but it is only a CD-R.
Fucker just took 25 quid off me for a piece of shit I coulda gotten for nothing. So, check the sellers name for any Prince music before you commit. If its watersideliving then tell him to fuck off... In fact buy nothing off the wanker... People like that need shooting... Ebay shouldnt allow that shit. Anyone can download music for free and then sell it on as a CD-R... Shit! |

Im pretty sure this WAS released in 1994 in Italy... I once saw it in Virgin in Milan a few years ago... Dunno what label it was from, and Ive no doubt it wasnt official, but Italy have lax copyright laws and so pirating is common place. Whatever the story, the Italian "release" of it was not on CD-R but properly pressed (with catalogue No.) and with proper artwork etc...

When I say genuine I mean as in the bootleg release... Like the Work Volumes for example. Would you bid hundreds on them if you knew you were going to get CD-Rs? The guy probably has a "genuine" copy of the bootleg and is selling hundreds of copies of it in CD-R format. Bootlegging the bootleggers. If he wants to do that then fine, say what it is in the ad but dont pretend to be selling the hard-to-find-bodering-on-impossible "original" only to ship out a copy he has burned on his computer at no expense. |

THATS what I thought I was bidding on. Nah, just an official vid. from NPGMC, there was a cd maxi called The Beautiful Experience, but that's the maxi for TMBGITW. | |
