PRINCESEXY I'm wondering if Prince would've been the same amazingly colourful person if he hadn't had the rauchiness to his early music.
In other words, can a person be totally slammin' without a raunch edge at all, from the beginning. Prince has, as some believe, 'mellowed out', but his nature may still be of a sexual nature, one hint being his pimp gansta singing style at times, carried through for example on The Rainbow Children. If the majority of music fans (in this case 'fan' meaning anyone who likes music enough to listen to music, buy music, or write music(etc?)) have 'shut out' Prince or grown 'tired' of Prince, I wonder if that's because their image first off is Prince the sex musician, so just way out there, and thus getting turned off to whatever direction he wants to go. Thus full circle...Can someone have what one considers 'slamming' music and not have a sex element...from the beginning of one's music career? ...rock music may be sex anyway, so can't be avoided??? 'rocking' to a bass snare beat is rhymical in that way, as some have recalled of the explanation of early history of rock n roll. heavy feather flicka nipple baby scram water ripple | |
