Was an MJ fan way before I was a Prince fan. Still get called 'MJ guy' for being able to dance like MJ and being the biggest MJ fan at my school. Now it's Prince, though, and it's easier to sing to Prince, which is important for me!

If they collaborated it would give me a hundred million little heart attacks. I still dream of what Bad would have been if Prince had stayed on board.

"Who loves the music of Prince AND Organized Resistance?", would be a more interesting question.

I was a fan of Michael Jackson & Madonna 2 years be4 I bought my 1st Prince CD.

I like to listen to MJ every so often for fun. His music is very pop-ie and cheerful.

I still don't understand why him and Prince getted pegged together all the time though, it makes absolutly no sense whatsoever.

That's be cool for 'em to do a song together though!

Part of my musical evolution:

As a kid, MJ ruled the roost. I even had a life size poster of him (the Bad album picture). Then as I went into early teens I discovered Janet's back catalogue. I read the liner notes to Design of a Decade, where it talks about Joe Jackson not wanting Janet to sound like Prince. I thought Janet sounded pretty awesome at the time (and this was before she dropped one of the greatest albums of all time (IMO!), The Velvet Rope).

So I decided I'd listen again to that weird Lovesexy album that I bought just for that Alphabet St song. I laid down on my bed, put the CD on, put my headphones on, and let myself be taken on a funky journey.

And the rest is purple history.

I love Michael's music, and his music turned me on to Prince. I heard the song "Trust" in the Batman movie, and thought it sounded like Michael. Years later, I had a desire to hear that music and really got into the whole album. After that picked up, "Purple Rain" and saw the opening scene in the movie, where he performs, "Let's Go Crazy" The rest is HIStory for me liking both Michael and Prince. (No pun intended)

My advice to any Prince fan is to check out Michael's song, "Superfly Sister." It sounds very Prince-ish IMO.

I also love MJs vocals with The Jacksons.

Not really but 'Off The Wall' is amazing. Plus the the jackson 5 stuff gets me dancing more than any Prince song (which I hate to admit)

I am all about Michael Jackson and Prince is a close second or third (tied with George Michael or Michael Hutchence.)
