ButI am ultimatly a Purple Rain freak, 1985 syracuse and 1988 Lovesexy videos being my top 2 but any PR Live solo demands full respect. the purple rain solo from the last show of the PR tour is not to be messed with. I second that notion.

He's doin' some serious runs. And, that's my favorite tone from him, anyway. agree... That's the best I ever seen him performed it with such passion.... Other times, he looks like he just going thru the motions.... I always said that 'Purple Rain' is his 'Maggot Brain'..... Hell yeah, it is! SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

My Favorite solo song is Dam U from the symbol cd. He sings about having a hundred million little heart attacks. He's in a club setting with nothing but ladies present. If you don't have 3 chains O' gold get it and watch. I love all the videos on this one.

You must understand, there are a fair amount!
Another two I realized that may be "hidden," 1. Get Some Solo (on the 'Cream' EP) 2. track #5 on 'The Beautiful Experience,' "Sexy Staxaphone and Guitar." I'm sure there's more to follow... "Whatever skin we're in
we all need 2 b friends" | |

Didn't see this one mentioned (and many of you probably are not familiar with it, since this song was available for download to NPGMC members the first year it came into existence). The song "Habibi" has always been my personal favorite. If you can get a hold of this song, please do and check it out. Prince's guitar playing sounds so much like Jimi Hendrix's, it's uncanny! Just listened to this song again today, it rocks!!! RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I have very limited knowledge on Prince's full discography. However, ones that always stood out to me were "Electric Chair" and "Let's Go Crazy."
Beyond that, the solo in "Everyday Is A Winding Road" is awesome in my book.
