EASILY...

Scandalous Sex Suite worship
I Hate U
3 Chains of Gold... One of the nastiest solos I've ever heard, but its MUCH too brief to save that otherwise abomination of a song.

There's also a FEROCIOUS extended outtake of Computer Blue I used to have a bootleg of. redface The guitar on that was insane.

Not to forget his solo(s) on "We gon' make it funky", live with Maceo Parker at one of the PP celebrations! I love those added slap and pop bass style licks he plays. And I always love it when he plays the axe along with other instruments, the horns in this case.

Oh, and he tore the roof of the Fillmore in 2004, too.

From the 1980's albums-Computer Blue
From the 1990's albums-Endorphinmachine
From the 00's albums-Fury

Best live guitar-RRHOF, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". This one should be a slam dunk!

Gosh, as far as anthems go, I'm gonna put "Savior" right behind "Purple Rain."

Its blues breakdown is cool, too.

2 fantastic solos:

1/ rockhard in a funky place - the tone, the swaggering control, the way it is integrated into the musical background against the carousel-like keyboard lick - and the way it ends, choking on itself before the horn lick takes over again.

2/ i wish u heaven (part 1.2.3) it's in part 2, of course, when he says 'say hello to my little friend... the blue angel'.

what an outSTANDing piece of work. the guitar tone is so dark, sensuous and sinister. and the shape of the solo is savage and restrained at the same time. now that's good church.

The cool guitar solo on the unreleased version of "My Summertime Thang" is often neglected but well worth a listen

Most non P fans are baffled to discover just how good he is on guitar when I play them this lil beauty

The one from The Ride, that he did on the Undertaker. It's too bad the only way to hear such a great thing is to have to endure that shitty movie. At least Vanessa could have gotten naked.

In my previous reply, I totally forgot one that still sends chills behind my earlobes and makes the hair stand up on my right forearm:

the solo in the "Adam & Eve" remix to TGRES.
Coupled with the synth, it's just...

fanfuckin'tabulous!!!

Yeah, one of those times when P obviously was channeling Hendrix. As on the "Cybersingle" solo.
