Sign 'O' The Times dilemma

Oh, no, it's another of those artificial dilemma question type things.

OK. Let's keep this simple. For some reason the Universe is about to go into premature HEAT DEATH. Unless, dear orgers, you can save it.

Again for some reason, there is only one thing that will save the Universe from its untimely end. One of the two discs of music from the popular double album 'Sign 'O' The Times' must be forever destroyed and all copies of it eradicated from the history of planet Earth.

Which disc do you choose to lose forever for the sake of our continued existence? Disc 1 or Disc 2?

Or do you take the (controversial) opinion that a Universe with half of SOTT gone forever is no place to live and deserves to burn?

SOTT is my favourite Prince cd and even though I kind of like option 2, I don't really want the world to end, so I would have to pick Disc 1 to go.

If I was your girlfriend is in my top 10 favourites songs, so it has to stay.

Disc 2--easily. It sums Prince up.

Evil terrible awful question...a hideous thought that is damn near unfathomable. I'm shuddering over here.

That being said, I would have to sacrifice Disc 1, if only because Disc 2 does not have a weak track in the bunch while Disc One has It and Slow Love. But without the title track and Housequake the album would not be the same.
All good things they say never last...

FOr me it's a question of

Housequake vs Beautiful Night
Ballad of D. Parker vs If I was your GF
the rest are arbitrary...

And while I agree...not a skipper on Disk 2 and Disk one peters out toward the end...I love Housequake and Ballad of DP so much, I have to rescue IT from destruction.

Sorry I Adore Adore and IIWYGF, but
The universe will never be the same without

The ballad of Dorothy Parker, Play in the Sunshine and Starfish and Cofee

So, destroy Disc 2

I would destroy Disc 1 if I had to...however...

if that were to happen, I would burn a copy of disc one to the computer and combine it with disc 2's songs (and keep the original disc two). Then I would burn both discs to a CD and label it disc 2. Wait, would that work in this situation?? lol

That's my only solution...I would seriously not know what to do in that situation...because I'd be like, "Wow, how did the world come to depend on this???" falloff

Please. Sign disc two has "Strange Relationship" and "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man". Probably my two favorite songs by Prince. Ever. Let disc 1 burn.

Or...just delete "It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night" because that is a dreadful song. Then everything will fit on one burned cdr. Happy! biggrin

Hmmm, tricky one! Can I trade one of the discs for all 3 discs of Emancipation?....I guess not. I can't choose so I'd take the last option - goodbye universe.

I'd have to destroy Disc One, although I really don't like 'U Got The Look'.
