Nope.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

it's a part of the "All My Dreams" outtake, a song that was on
an early configuration/testpressing of the Parade album.

it has been circulating for more than a decade now amongst the
bootleggers and fans.

this part of the song, which is a speech in a deep voice, kind
of a reversed Camille effect, was also used in an early version
of the song "Acknowledge Me" from 1993/1994 where it was used
as the outro of the song.

Good boy.

I was listening to this this morning... Love this song. I wish I could tie Prince up in a chair and work on him until he signs over all his vaulted material to me so I can go ahead and release top notch quality versions in what would be a much anticipated series of outtakes. sigh

But no, as Prince said once; "My only competition is… well, me in the past " Does this mean he knows he was badder back in the day?

I cannot stress how much this song is one in a long list of not released songs that could shine on a Best Of Vaulted Material Pt 1.

It's rich in layers, sexy and weird... just the way I like it...

I would tie Prince down and make him sign a series of releases.

Single albums, compilations that are themed or by year, so they tie in perfectly with an album release.

I mean, would it not be great to have an album with unreleased Purple Rain material?

Or an album with unedited album versions? This one would be unlikely, but still.

Or an album with Prince versions of songs other people recorded?

Or an album for the über-geeks; with ALL different versions of We Can Funk, for instance?

Or an album with the best unreleased love songs?

Or an album with all the aftershow covers? Prince plays other people's music live?
