Activity at Paisley Park... again As I've said before, I drive by Paisley Park about twice a week to go to my gym and yesterday there were a whole bunch of cars in the parking lot. I think it was full, because there were cars also parked along Audobon road, the sidestreet next to Paisley. I couldn't tell what was going on, but I did see people walking out of the doors which lead into the soundstage area.... I wonder if the man is in town and rehearsing for the upcoming tour? Anybody got the inside scoop on this one? | |

Isn't it true that other companies rent the facility for events, parties rehearsals, films, etc? Perhaps that's what you saw. | |

Prince is rehearsing, or was recently, so Paisley Park would likely be the place 2 do so... "He's a musician's musician..." |

So true! I walked in like I owned the place one Monday morning in 93. I said "hello Again" to the security guard as I strolled past and walked straight up to the band hanging in the main atrium area. Prince turned up (in one hell of a funky green number) and after a minute or so mentioned that I really shouldn't be in here. I shook hands with everyone and left! The security guard gave me the most evil look when I left smiling saying "Cheers mate. I gotta go, Prince wants me out!" My mate was waiting outside with the car (we were on holiday from England) and he was laughing his balls off. We started taking a couple of pictures of us in front of the building before the security guard came out. So we headed to glam slam! . |
