VERY positive reaction to AI from another msg board The response on the linked board proves that Prince is a lot more popular than folks around here give him credit for. It's not like everyone who likes him posts on any of the Prince sites. But, they did link back here laughing about the 'live viewing' thread.

I loved it but I think it was a mistake by the producers. All I could think was "Now that's a performer, that's a star". Katherine and Taylor are just crap compared to him. It also made me want to get Prince's new album and made me not want to get K & T's. It also made me wonder why I watch this show - I should be listening to real artists and watching real performers. Mission Accomplished!

But I think it's pretty cool that folks who normally don't pay any attention to Prince, whether it's because they still picture him from the Purple Rain days, or don't even know he's still doing music, see what a REAL artist is all about. Thanks to J7 and all you East Coast people for letting us know about it, otherwise I wouldn't have seen it since I don't watch AI.  | |
