Sean paul's accent is pretty real. He is Jamaican. And yes he is the bomb.

I also think Prince did a little Jamaican attempt..or a girl on his record during one of the "Batman" videos..I think it was Partyman.

I just heard "Telemarketer's Blues" on Musicology 2004ever. On that Prince does what he calls a "Minnesotan accent". It is hilarious! Most Minnesotans are sons and daughters of German, Norwegian, Swedish and Belgian immigrants.. so if you haven't heard it yet..imagine that and you have gotten an idea!

PS. He does a better "Minnesotan" accent than Jamaican. Obviously he grew up around it.

Love that song. Clare Fischer's strings on The Sun, The Moon & Stars are IMO amongst his finest work on ANY Prince song.

I love the drum and bass style beat and even the reggae rap. The harmonies are beautiful as well.

A great, great song.

"Sean Paul is the bomb" Well I guess that is why you don't like "Rippogodazippa. Quality music vs crap.

if you think "rippopgodazippa" is "quality music" you've overdosed on that purple kool-aid. I'll take sean paul's "like glue" over that garbage any day.

Sean Paul is from Jamaica. and his accent real.

I'm pretty sure it's "Come like the cold winter do in Montreaaaaalll" He was singin about Mani then I'm sure. That dog.

I like that part too, but it's still kinda embarasing to listen to that song in public. I had that song play at my wedding and I tried to distract the guests when that part came on by lifting my dress over my head...maybe it was the champagne that made me do that, not the song. Oh well. Good times.

People find so many strange things to criticize that it´s almost ridiculous. Dont take Prince more serious than himself.

maybe it was just a joke, an artistic decision. Holy God! GEt a life

I worry more about his fake Minnesota accent. I still think the guy was born on some other planet, not Minnesota. He should eat more cheese, at least.
