This thread was interesting to me in the sense of... I didn't have the CD readily available to listen to it and judge for myself.

But now I've taken on threeseed's original meaning now that the CD is at my fingertips.

Thing is even now when I pick up Crystal Ball (in it's RIDICULOUS plastic round capsule ), I want to listen to the first 3 discs, not Truth.

ok, my ass. The album is a semi-masterpiece. The production value is pretty breathtaking. Feels like your at a private concert in Prince's studio, with nobody else, but you and Prince. The little noises that pop out of nowhere really floor ya.

I didn't buy my copy. ooooo. Freaky.

You can tell by the sound that Prince used too heavy of guitar strings. He seems to strain, beating on them.
