Prince listed as one of Forbes Movers and Shakers Just another homeowner
Purple-clad pop star Prince bought a $5.5 million mansion in Toronto last October. The modern home, which had been listed as early as May 2001, was one of the most expensive properties in Toronto, including 19 rooms, lots of marble and a tennis court, and is about 9,000 square feet. Besides his mansion in Minneapolis, Prince is also said to keep property in France. Born Prince Roger Nelson, the 44-year-old Minneapolis native was said to have married his girlfriend, Paisley Park Studios employee Manuela Testolini, on New Year's Eve in Hawaii. Testolini, who is 25 and 18 years Prince's junior, is also a Torontonian. If the marriage indeed took place, it will be Prince's second, after a marriage with back-up dancer Mayte in 1996. Prince has also been romantically linked with big name stars, including Kim Basinger, Apollonia and Sheena Easton. The multitalented svengali is also credited for starting the career of Carmen Electra. | |
