I hope you all are having a terrific day! It has been a long time since I have been here. Many of you may remember me from Missy Elliott's video, "Work It."

My name is Vince Gibbs and I have been professionally impersonating Prince for 8 years now.

I just want to let everyone in the Chicago area know that I will be performing at the Six Flags in Chicago from April 27th - Sept 4th. It would be very nice to see you all there if you can make it.

Feel free to come up to me and introduce yourselves after the show. It is always my pleasure to meet anyone who is a fan of Prince like I am.

I am honored and humbled to be a part of this wonderful community you all have here and I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible, God willing.

Hey I checked out your website from the past, cool website. It was really a trip seeing your baby photo, looked just like Prince in his baby photo getting ready for a Musical journey. And the similarity page was a trip, when the both of you started playing instruments. Keep Up the Funk.

What a great name you have chosen! I really think the world needs more love and tolerance of others. Thanks for the nice words. Although I was not very happy with the final cut, (the lighting and camera were not too flattering on me ) I guess as long as Missy and Dave Elliott (the director) were happy, then it was okay.

Yes, I am really trying to keep the funk alive, mainly the Princely funk. I just think that Prince is awesome and I thank God everyday for allowing me to do what I do. But without people like you, you know... people who also respect the great legacy that Prince is leaving behind, then my job would be meaningless. Thanks for the compliments on the site.

I've been a Prince fan since the Right On! magazine days if you can think how far back that was. I was going to do a Prince tribute down here in Texas but people and musicians was telling me nobody wants to come to just a Prince show but I see You and perplerain be doing it up North! I might have to Kick that thang off down here anyway.
