Total Request Live

I was just remembering the episode of total request
live on MTV when Prince debut his video "The Greatest
Romance Ever Sold". I wonder if he felt nervous about
the reaction from the MTV audience that was there. Do you
think the audience is told to always applaud in favor of a
new music video no matter what?
I wonder if Prince felt the slightest bit of nerv-racking
emotion about displaying his material to a new younger
audience other than the vertans who watched him in the
beginning of his artistic journey.

What do you think?

Very true. Rave was Prince's worst album, IMO...it was a sell-out..and I don't mean numbers-wise.
