 Usenet has existed since 1979. You can find posts dating back to 1981 on groups.google.com
It's pretty amazing when you think about it... Amazing historical archive... I love to check out what people thought when certain movies came out... You can see early reviews of Return of the Jedi... reviews of purple rain... | |

after reading that link, my first thought was, "geez, the 80s weren't so great after all..." Then again,most of those posters probably hadn't been exposed to Prince prior to Purple Rain and probably didn't bother to follow his career afterwards. | |

 Ok, then I guess I was wrong. Not everyone had internet back then. I didn't know such forums existed in the early 90's. I was happy playing Pacman.
