the beautiful experience, broadcast on sky tv europe, and eventually elsewhere...a sort of concert movie

BTW...In the states, the beautiful experience "film" was shown at a few parties hosted by the NPG as well. I went to one in Chicago years ago that was (I think) called the Gold Masquerade Ball. There was a stage set up, and the excitement was building all night. They showed the film twice, and then the lights went down. And out on the stage comes....Tag Team! No shit! To sing their "classic" Whoomp song.
I also remember watching the film upstairs at the NPG store in MPLS. Occupy Alphabet Street!

Tag Team...That was one of the more disappointing nights of Prince as far as I'm concerned. I also recall hearing about a fight between Prince and Cat Glover at this party. She got drunk and Pissed Off. Occupy Alphabet Street!
