Any other DJs on the Org? just curious to know if there are any other active djs on the org? especially vinyl djs. if so we should start our own discussions and topics because to be honest, i have grown very tired of the normal threads on the org that involve nonsense and ignorance. i am not interested in prince's chest hair, or his drawers, wardrobe, doves, cars or his personal life. i just want to talk about music and the science behind it.
so if there are any djs/musicians out there who want to exchange ideas and use the org to its full potential...please jump on this thread or emale me at djdredd@djdredd.com i am sure some negativity will surface in this thread, but hey thats seems to be the norm here on the org these days. hopefully there are some real deal cats out there who want to vibe on the positive tip. www.djdredd.com

cool.
glad to see the people responding. i am going to ask the org to specify a dj section on here for cats like us who appreciate the culture and the music more than the gossipmongering that goes on here. you guys should make the same request to the org powers that be and maybe we can carve out our own little corner on the org. that way whenever we log on we know that we can go to that place and there will be something decent, positive and of interest to us on the org at all times. keep bustin!!

I actually tried this out a couple months ago. I liked that you start at any point of the 'record' and the music would start however i had problems adjusting the tempo. It's conevient that all you need is your setup and the two 'records' that come with FS and a laptop, though. Josh Wink uses FS now but it does take some getting used to. I think I'll stick to my crates.
