Why are P's worst songs duets?

I hate 'Nothing Compares 2 U' from the Hits/The B-Sides album.

Comparing the version by The Family to the turgid overblown duet with Rosie Gaines and her man-sized lungs, is the perfect example of the difference between his music in the 80s, to his music in the 90s.

I wouldn`t call any of the tracks`crappy`! I disagree with your inclusion of `Take Me With You`,as I think it`s a great pop song that works well in the context of the album & film.At the end of the day it boils down to personal choice.If we were all the same the world would be a sadder place!!

3. Incense and Candles (not the worst as a song, but vocorder is unbearable)
4. Take Me With You (just got on my nerves in '85 as the most watered-down and over-played song on PR)
5. BLAB (for the SNL vers., the recorded vers.'s OK, just...)
6. NC2U (I agree w Justin, altho the Family album vers. isn't that hot either. But still, the song itself is amazing so it goes in as just bearable)

oh, and I ignored So Far, So Pleased, because if I started to include Rave trax...

Arms of Orion hands down is the crappiest

'arms of orion' is el crappo. crapparooni. i'm not talking about something that sticks to the side of the toilet - i'm talking about a loaf that shoots right down the commode.

say what you want about arms of orion, but it does have
a great prince vocal performance. i like how his vocals
sound on the track.

i'm hard pressed to think of a really bad prince duet..

Whoever agrees with Incense & Candles and Lovesign must hate R&B because I think those 2 should be no where near the list. I also think Arms of Orion is a completely under-rated song. You would have to be truly unromantic to not like it.

Thank you! I used to be bad on Arms of Orion until I suppose it hit me with it's beauty one day. One thing I like about Prince is there are many songs I'll skip as I don't like them until one day I am not near the skip button nor am I paying attention to my dislike for the song...I always discover a gem. i.e.I hate you and Damn U.
