I'm going to be there for business from the 27th to the 31st. I can go to the Sunday show, but if I go it will be solo. Would love to hook up with some new friends.

Am trying to work out the details as we speak. I am really trying to swing it and if I can I WILL be there! Its only a six hour drive for me.

You know I really love Prince, but HELL NO! That $312.01 means about six outfits for my son. Gotta catch on the next one Prince (still love ya though) .

You know, I saw what I think will be the set list from the Purple Ticket winner's post (May 6th show) and based on that I don't think it is worth the money. 5 or 6 songs by Tamar and 8 or 9 from Prince. Know doubt it would be a great show, but for now I think I will wait for the gig to come to me in Tampa (assuming there will be a tour).

At that price (including travel, food and hotel stay) PLUS $312.01 I would expect a show with Prince being up-front and center!
Seriously, I am quite sick of having Tamar and The Twinz force fed down my throat. I'm about 2 vomit.
I figure that at that price Prince gets 300.00, Tamar 20.00, Twinz splittin the $2.00 amd the pennies going to the P.P.'s who are making this seem like a "Once in a lifetime show!"
Give me a break...1 super-star, that is worth the ticket, but really the show is used as a showcase for an ex- Star Search and Ausie Idol contestents.

I think some people are going to be drawn in thinking with that ticket price it is going to be some really special show, but yes, I think the set-list will be half-Prince half-Tamar like recent shows. I seem to remember a concert in Harlem which Prince did during, I think, the Diamond & Pearls tour, which was touted as going to be the most amazing show since some classic James Brown show, but in the end it was just a normal concert with a normal tour set-list.

I wouldn't pay that kind of money for one ticket to see anyone!! If Prince thinks he's going to pull into my town this summer and charge over $300 per ticket, he's nuts. I'm a huge fan, but I would never pay this to see him or anyone else. Two tickets will be over $700. That's just crazy.

At the end of the day, with regards to this show, it's only got room for 1000-2000 so I hear, so if it wasn't the huge price fans were complaining about it would instead be that wasn't a big enough space and that it was sold out before they had chance! Prince isn't going to satisfy the majority until he announces a proper tour, but I have a feeling he will do a few of these one-off expensive gigs in key locations before that happens...

Um, with taxes and services charges it will definitely be over $700. Anyway, to each his own. I just know that I would not waste money like that. I've seen Prince many times in concert and have been to over 100 concerts in my time and I have never seen prices this high.

Just got my 2 tix for the vegas show saturday night... yippie. I just moved to vegas so this is my welcome to vegas present to myself!!!!! Anyone else going on here???
