PrintablePrince owes me a frickin' refund on that Be Wild stinky perfume. 
Seriously, I went to Las Vegas to see Prince, and I paid $200 for the tickets, plus airfare... And that was my choice. This time I don't think I want to see Prince, and Tamar. It just doesn't appeal to me.. Musicology is the kind of concert that I like.. Prince showing his God given talent. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

"Xenophobia" was "Xpectation" without "Xenophobia" (I think...) which we just got as a download and the "thanx for nothing" downloads of the sarcastically titled "C-Note"... Not to mention that he scammed French and Dutch people out of $100 (resp.) for an aftershow on the ONA Tour while we were promised that aftershows were free for clubmembers like they were in the US... what does prince owe me? me personally, or those who've supported him throughout the years in general?
i guess the short answer is prince owes me nothing. its the logical answer on the surface of things. so, yeah, prince owes me nothing. and i know you sensed a "however" coming... prince likes to lecture, preach, whatever you wanna call it...prince likes to tell people what they should and shouldn't do. can we agree on that? songs like animal kingdom (by the way, he served seafood at his most recent party), most of the rainbow children record, and an innumerable amount of comments at his live shows have continually "told us" how we should be living. its interesting to me that when some people do the same thing to him here (or at the club) they get dogged by fans who say "prince doesn't owe you anything." and those fans are right...sort of. if prince wants to lecture about living a virtuous life, not eating things that have eyes (or parents, depending on what show you were at), and following God's word, why does he not take notes from his own lecture? after all, isn't avarice a deadly sin? 
no, prince doesn't owe me anything. i'd love to hear his justification for so many of the contradictory and hypocritical actions/comments coming from him but its certainly not owed to me. what prince needs to understand is that nothing is owed to him either. so the next time he shows up on stage 3 hours late with the attitude that my time was owed to him, i hope we all remind him that we owe him nothing. | |
