I do kinda miss New Jack Swing. Teddy Riley is probably most under-rated cat in urban contemporary R&B history. Jus' listen 2 "D-O-G Me Out" or "Teddy's Jam II". Teddy was the most original (and funkiest) drum programmer in urban contemporary R&B history. Funky, complex, swingin', and hard. The only thing that comes close these days is Drum & Bass, which takes shortcuts, like speeding up older breaks.... essentially just using loops. Teddy worked that shit, like I still do. It's not like that's her fault is it! I think she's cute, she a has a baby-doll look about her. Not that that particularly matters, if the album is good she could look like Cookie Monster for all I care. Just listened to Holla & Shout on Tamar's myspace site. It's terrible! What's P thinking? He can't be thinking with his brain. Otherwise I don't understand why he is promoting that girl. I mean, it looks like he cares more about her now than about his own music, he seems totally obsessed by her!
