This is a list of Prince's UK top 40 chart hits, if it helps, I expect most were available on CD single. Erotic City was never a single, it was the B-side. Peach and Controversy were released to co-incide with The Hits and included extra tracks including Pink Cashmere, I don't know where you're getting the pt1 and pt2 from. There's a couple that failed to chart, such as The Greatest Romance, Cinnamon Girl, Black Sweat.

The 3 Lovesexy ones were in slim jewel cases, although they were 3" cd's with a 5" adaptor supplied. Alphabet St. and Glam Slam were just plain cases with a sticker on and cd / adaptor inside, IWUH had an insert.
When Doves Cry, Kiss, Erotic City, Let's Go Crazy were released on both 3" in a card case in the UK, and 5" in a jewel case in Germany I think, so wouldn't interest you...

I Might be wrong...But I remember Seeing "Alphabet St & Glam Slam" As 5" cds....or at least One of them being 5" But that was back in 1988.... At the time they wanted $14.99 for the Import cds singles....[where i live] So i got the Cassette Maxi Single, and 12"

They may have been produced in Germany, but they were all sold as regular-price singles. I never saw any of them marked up as "Imports" like The Future CD Single was. Are you sure that they weren't intended for distribution in the UK?

Are you sure that they weren't intended for distribution in the UK? I bought Blankman which was marked up as an Import. Worse that 1999 TNM. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

The Future was also a German release. And Musicology was never actually issued in the UK either (it was going to be, but was cancelled at the last minute). The european pressing was then freely distributed in the UK kinda after the fact (usually with no mention that it was actually an import). [Edited 5/2/06 18:34pm]
