Haven't been listening to any specific album lately, just bootleg stuff and a mix of songs I have on a CD I burned.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

For You.

Ever since I heard "Crazy You" for the first time on NPG, I thought it was a beautiful song so I bought the album last week. I was a tender 3 years old at the time of the album so it sort of went over my head when it was out. wink

His scream on the begining of the title track still freaks me out. I still love it.

I was listening to "3121" nonstop. Then I got all hyped up and wanted to mix the jams "Lolita" and "Love" with other artists. Hell, who's there to mix them with? Today's music as a whole is fucked up and a current Prince song would not sound right with a tape full of old songs.

I really haven't listened to any Prince in the past week or so except maybe a song here and there but no album all the way through.

Lately, I've been listening to 3121, Rave and some live recordings of pre-Purple Rain stuff.

It is a grower belive me! When I first got it I just wasn't into it...I'm not a big jazz fan as it is...but I decided to go back later on and I'm surpised it's pretty good. I guess you just have to wait till your musical pallet changes...just like how you can start liking shrimp one year even though in the past you couldn't stand it.

Rainbow Children
Muse to the pharoh
The Work
1+1+1 is 3

these are the songs I've actually learned to really like. biggrin

Haven`t been listening to a whole lot of Prince lately. The last full album I played was 1999, and that was a while ago.

EDIT: I played Parade on my iPod today. Perfect Spring album, obviously.

It was the opposite way with TRC for me. When I first heard it I thought "Wow, this is awesome! It sounds so organic, and the musicianship is fantastic! This is some pretty magical stuff."

Then I listened to the lyrics and was repulsed. Then I got tired of most of the songs on a musical level anyway.
