Prince's vocals are more pronounced and upfront on the video version as well...and the guitar is slightly less submerged. Add in the backing vocals and it sounds a bit more "raw", which I love. | |

It certainly sounds much better to my ears. It's a better mix for sure.
By the way, the video shown in Germany is not the official video. It was apparently played by mistake. I'm not sure if the NPGMC video is the finnished one. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. | |

it's there but not as prominent. this mix is brighter and more spatial. there is panning on the guitar which was not as prominent in the original. same with the vocals. | |
