Yeah it's been done superspaceboy, but that was his most creative time and he was playing with musicians that challenged him. 86 to 88 were great years for him creatively.

To be clear, given his well-proven solo success, Prince doesn't need to work with anyone else, of course. But for the sake of fun and a nice challenge, I think Herbie Hancock might be a great collaborator.
He's an amazingly talented, versatile and accomplished veteran. He's used to blending others' strengths with his own and probably has the same respect for Prince that Prince probably has for him, which could make for some amazing recording sessions that would produce magic. Hey, anybody got Herbie's and Prince's numbers handy? lol Peace | |
