Kayne West Wasn't Man Enough to Ask Prince for Autograph

Kanye West wanted to ask Prince for an autograph backstage at the Brit Awards - but was too scared to approach him. The hip-hop star, who walked away with the International Male prize at the prestigious ceremony, admitted he was completely star-struck while watching the diminutive singer perform.

After Prince finished his dazzling set, Kanye admits he was desperate to ask him for a signed picture but couldn't go through with it. He confessed to Britain's Radio 1: "I really want to ask for a signed picture, but he's so famous you don't dare ask. You gotta respect the legends."

I like him. I saw him open for U2 at a show in Portland. He has great charisma and I like the way he does things. Maybe not the most articulate, but he has skills.

Knowing how Prince is about autographs, I would be scared to ask him also.
