It was announced this week that some of the dates are set for the annual TODAY Show summer concert series in NYC at Rockerfeller Center's outdoor plaza, sponsored by Toyota. It's been May 1998 when Prince last appeared on TODAY's concert series, with Larry Graham and GCS and Chaka Khan, promoting the NPS Tour and Larry's and Chaka's and the lates NPG album. Prince's previous appearances were in July 1996 and June 1994 (but that was a studio performance with Nona Gaye - Love Sign).

If you really want to look at it, this would be Prince's first performance on the TODAY show because the previous three were when he was .

As you cna see below, some dates are to be determined, but it looks like a certain June date might fit nicely for Prince, if he decides to appear and perform on the morning show program.

I would believe more dates are going to be filled in, pushing the concert series into August and September.

well i see there's a couple of TBD. maybe there's some possibility yet.

Whether Prince is appearing or not, that is a lame ass list. I won't wake up early for that!
