Ok so far there have been a few announcements about winners. I have YET to hear about the US contest winners or the iTunes winners or any of the other contests going on (Postcards from the edge anyone?)

When is this specail "concert" And why have there not been like ANY announcements regarding this perfomance? I mean you do a big ol splash about it and slap that gold wrapper on every CD...one would think there would be headline news about this.

Does anyone who what the deal is?

And when is the performance?

During the Chris Evans radio show, he mentioned there would be 50 winners at the gig, I guess that's 25 actual winners and the rest guests. He also said the winner would have to be prepared to leave on the 4th of May - I've heard the concert is on the 6th of May. I've heard the winner of his competition posts on Housequake. That's 2 tickets from the UK - that show, plus the 3121.co.uk MSN competition winner.

Only the winners will be informed they won, and if they want to keep it quiet that's upto them I guess, we may not get to hear much about it until after the gig.

= 24 (competition winners + guests)

I'm unaware of any other announced opportunities but there may, I guess, be other similar promotion competitions.

Chris Evans definately mentioned 10 tickets for the whole of Europe. With 2 for the UK and 1 for the Dutch , that leaves 7 unaccounted for! Assuming he was correct. Wasn't there supposed to be tickets inside the albums meant for the European market other than the UK? UK being excluded because it would have invalidated it's chart position...?

the mtv contest, the japan contest....i had a running list at some point that totaled 18 winners (36 tickets). i was told by an insider that there was supposed to be 21 tickets total....dont know where the other three were coming from.

the contest ended on april 1th. no one has been known to have "found a purple ticket", all US winners were second chance winners, notified on april 16th. on may 15th, you can send in a request for the official winners list. i plan on sending it in.....send as follows:

send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: “AN EVENING WITH PRINCE” GAME — WINNERS LIST, PO Box 56436, Sherman Oaks, CA 91413, to be received by May 30, 2006. VT residents do not remit the return postage.
