My Prince collection always seems a bit bare up to the release of the 1999 LP 1978-1982 (sure I have the early albums and some of the early 7" picture sleeve releases too, but nothing I can really be very proud of!)

So I was wondering, what are your most prized Prince records/memorabilia which date prior to 1982 and what's the most you have ever paid, or would be prepared to pay?

definately for me it is the 12 inch uk sexy dancer 12inch with the long extended version which is damn near impossible to find no

also my uk 12 inch of i wanna be your lover/just a long as we're together.

My 12' of Lets Work and Gotta Stop...I want the cover as a poster.

Both were from the same photoshoot, 1 with his hands behind his head (from the regular "Controversy" LP release) and the other one is the same except with his hands behind his back and a "you-wanna-lick-my-body" look on his face (from the "Controversy" Promo LP)...
