Prince Dancer Arrested???? Prince dancer's misstep?
Prince might want to consider giving his backup dancers a raise, as police say one of them has been trying to supplement her income by smuggling cocaine. Cecilia Maximilia was arrested April 17 with a whopping 44 pounds of the drug. The British dancer was picked up by police at the airport in Rio de Janeiro, where she was scheduled to take an Air France flight to Paris. She was nabbed with Jennifer Salgnac, each of whom carried three bags transporting the drugs, according to authorities. X-ray machines detected the coke, wrapped in packages hidden in the luggage under false bottoms, police say. lol...we still can't seem to figure out how this lady is connected to Prince.I can't recall seeing her in any of his videos or stage performances

NPGMC has 2 make a statement about this.
She looks like she could have been Diamond or Pearl. Who knows? Maybe one of many dancers he used around The Gold Experience or even around the Emancipation era. Remember all of the modern ballet type dancers flitting about during the "Endorphin Machine" performence and the Emancipation concert? Maybe it's all bunk, and she never danced 4 Prince. Whatever the case, this is bad publicity, and I don't like it. I think it would be a good idea 4 NPGMC 2 make some sort of statement. G. "He's a musician's musician..." |

If she was a dancer for Prince she was an obscure one in a crowd of dancers, probably for a one-off tv performance rather than a tour. I think it is scandalous the media are re-printing this story without checking their facts and associating 'drugs' with 'Prince' when there is no connection at all. Clearly people are going to think she is one of the twins or one of Diamonds & Pearls just like people on here are doing. If, as is likely, she's a dancer-for-hire, she's more than likely worked for several artists but they've picked on Prince's name to make the story juicier. It really gets my goat!
