PRINCE now?

I would never think the day, dat i would c Prince sell-out and even endorse a untalent.

I mean 3121 is definetly not the minnaplis/Prince sound. When i first had 2 ear, sounded like pure bling, bling, and belive me dat sound is dated.

For once Prince in his own carrer sold-out. But if it had 2 happen it was inevitable. From his first totally composed, written, enginered album 'For U', and 2 this day, he had proved himself.

So where he go now?

When i first heard about 3121, and Prince sayin this this album would be his most sophisticated album in his carrer. I was not presuaded, in the slightest, even though it was heavy on the modern RNB.

But if Prince really wanted 2 be different, he should have done an album mainly concentrated on the genre of 'heavy-metal' which is the only gerne he has never even composed one song.

So 3121 is just a different album, but nothin shockin 2 heavy-core Prince fans.

The day happened in 1991, and the "untalent" was Tony M. biggrin

No disrespect, this has to be one of the most silliest statements I've read yet about 3121 and Prince in general..."heavy-metal"?????

Bambi and I'm Yours are pretty close to heavy metal. The only thing is those songs were released in 1978 and 1979. I thought he would continue those types of songs, but I was obviously mistaken.

Yep, and also one of the most bitched about projects.
Prince is and always will be in a no win situation with fans, and so he should just do what he wants as no MATTER what at least 1/2 the fan base bitches/moans/complains about the project anyways.... whether it is a new CD, tour, video, concert, protegee, wife/girlfriend, band, sound, etc...

Same moaning different year.

"Right the Wrong" is pretty close. And pretty awful.
