what about Arista records?

I just saw TGRES video and the credit at the end of the video said "Arista REcords 1999"
What is this about? Did Arista records distribute Rave?
Was this arrangement a positive one, or a failed collaboration?

yes Artista distributed Rave un2. But it was a failed collaboration because Prince felt that they under-promoted the record which is why he then came out with Rave In2. Don't you hate when you ask a simple question and nobody takes you serious?
chill..prince doesnt like men being front row, makes it hard to sing the ballads
