What Prince album are you listening to alot latley?

So in the past few weeks which Prince album has been getting the most time on your CD player?

I have been listening to ATWIAD alot! Oooh I forgot how good some of the songs are on here. Usually I like more of Prince's danceable/groovable/funkier stuff but just for pure listening power that aids in my daydreaming this album really is engaging. I know Prince fans were really dissapointed when it first came out due to it being pretty experimental (actually I think it is total pop) but it did sound different than Purple Rain...but looking back I am pretty happy Prince decided to not repeat himself with this album. I'm happy Prince eventually went back to his raw funky sound with SOTT (one of my favorite albums) but I think taking a break from his other stuff was pretty couragious and I'm glad he did it.

The B sides from The Hits.
Some classics in there.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

A lot to the B Sides as well, and the whole Hits package, that I did not listen to in ages.

It's been varying from 3121 to Rainbow Children to Crystal Ball to Controversy to Batman to Parade. It's like it's time to dust off another year and go back and take another listen to what was put down and recorded. All good and all varying and I am just amazed at the output over the years. It's been a very good ride and it's been a very good ride for me with the memories of the past.

3121, though, has got the most use in the car.

TRC...this may Prince's BEST in terms of the music. I wish I could get an instrumental of this cd. It's VERY nice.

Believe it or not, Newpower Soul. I'm discovering that I like a few of the tracks quite a bit.

The Rainbow Children
I was a fool for never taking the adequate time with this album. I dismissed it too quickly at the time of its release. Some fantastic stuff I am discovering on there. It's great to have a "new" Prince album to listen to years after its release.

NOW I'm listening to Controversy.

I'm planning on listening to them all again.
I've already had the vault, musicology and the rainbow children.

I just listen to what I want to listen, eventually I'll have listened to them all again.

3121 obviously, but other than that, I've been in a Purple Rain mood lately.

I've been listening alot to 3121 and the Batman soundtrack, whilst mixing it up a bit by listening to Lovesexy and The B-Sides..... also lately I've been listening to my "remastered" Purple Rain..... I used two different programs to apply volume boosting, EQ, some filtering and compression... sounds quite good actually biggrin

Me too, kinda strange. It's not that bad if you go into it with an open mind and not compare it too PR, or SOTT.

Besides that I am listening to prince,Parade,Chaos and Disorder.

lol

i remember falling asleep to Parade a lot with a good friend of mine.
she would come over afternoons and if we'd go out late on saturday we
would just relax for a few hours and usually listen to parade and fall
asleep either to Under the Cherry Moon if we were very sleepy or not
until Sometimes it Snows in April if we kept chatting lol.

The Hits 2

...and I can't sleep with Prince music on. Once I accidentally fell asleep and kept waking up at least once during every song that came on, because I kept going, "I'll stay awake for the rest of this song," then I'd fall asleep again. Well, eventually I had to just turn it off because I was getting no sleep. Don't know why I can't sleep with Prince's music playing... lol

HE'S COMING AGAIN
