At the recent concerts, Prince shows his dislike for the radio-stations.
But how bad is his own airplay actually?
I live in Holland, and here we have a radiostation called 3FM. I always listen to two of their shows, both going to work and back home.
I always noticed that they played a reasonable amount of Prince and Prince-related songs. So for the past week, I noted down the Prince(-related) songs they played.
Here's the list, starting with Prince:
-Prince: When Doves Cry
-Prince: Kiss + Tom Jones: Kiss
-Prince: Adore (!)
-Prince: She Loves Me For Me
-Prince: I Wanna Be Your Lover
-Dale: Simon Simon
-Wendy & Lisa: Lolly Lolly
-Loïs Lane: Sex
-Sinead O'Connor: Nothing Compares 2U

Note, this is only from two of their shows, so I don't know how much more they play.

This made me kinda curious how much airplay he is getting in other countries. Like the US.

I'm in Houston, Texas, USA and the radio stations here never play him. Not even the old stuff. The only time they play any of his stuff is on his birthday and when he throws a concert.

In Chicago, Prince is played on 102.7 FM. The old stuff normally is played. I heard Alphabet Street the other day in a mix on another station.

Here in Finland they play Prince on different radio stations, not very often but at least some. What irritates me is that they always play the same songs:
"When doves cry", "TMBGITW", "Little red Corvette", "Purple rain", "Alphabet St.", "SOTT"...well you get the idea (old hits).
Although they mostly play the same songs I've heard some rare radio tunes also like "Five women", "Head" and "Wherever u go whatever u do". And everytime it snows in April here in Finland (which is quite often) you can count on a suitable song from Prince . I've also heard "Strollin'" a few times on a station called GrooveFM.
