I recently bought a CD (It did have the picture of Prince on '79 period, so i thought Why not?) In front it said "The artist formerly known as prince 94 east"

My problem is, i don't know what i've bought...it has 6 songs on it, and i haven't listened 2 them all yet, but i still don't recall hearing Prince's voice anywhere.

Can any of u please inform me?

Prince probably only sang background or sang up front on a few songs...but he mostly played instruments. It was his uncle Pepe Willie's group and they recorded some stuff 2gether b4 Prince got his record deal and made his first album.

I see now, it's clearly a fam item, and it should have said Pepe Williams in front of the CD, and not Prince. At least a little warning sign in the corner.
But i'm glad i have it, it's nice music, and i have at least one thing in my collection 2 brag about
