My co-worker, an MJ fan, just told me that after seeing Prince's performance on AI he went out and bought 3121! 
He said that growing up he was an MJ fan, because you had to either like one or the other (his words) but that he saw the performance and immediately wanted to buy a Prince album. He said he wants to buy more Prince albums after hearing 3121. 
Guess Prince's evil plan worked!!!

Heck, you've got a VERY personal song about his son in 'Until Ur In My Arms Again' and cool songs like Come On, The One & Wasted Kisses. Depending on my mood (and if I haven't listened to it for awhile) I even like the other stuff like Mad Sex & Freaks On This Side, which is kinda quirky. | |

Yeah, then when MJ appears at the Japanese MTV VMA's later this year, and brings out his new album next year, your co-worker will come crawling back to MJ. Very typical. Everytime MJ is in the process of making an album this shit happens. Prince fans get excited that he may be becoming more popular than MJ, and then MJ comes back and everything is back to normal. | |

Ofcourse I like Prince, I just think it's pathetic how Prince fans feel they have to bag out Michael every chance they get. Prince fans can't do anything, say anything, or engage in any discussion without mentioning Michael Jackson. Prince.org is a closet MJ fan forum. | |

Out of the tons of threads on this board, only a handful even mention Michael Jackson. Do you participate in threads with no MJ mention or do you only participate in threads where you feel compelled to defend MJ and get a dig in at Prince in one swoop? [Edited 5/27/06 23:32pm] | |
