MY HOUSE I just wanted to share a picture of my front yard with all you guys. I know this has nothing to do with Prince, but I have been busting my but on this yard and I finnally got it looking good. I have a pie shaped yard, so the back is huge. But the back has always been in great shape and the front looked terriable a couple of months ago. Some kind of disease got into it and it was full of brown patches and bare spots. After trying everything in the store and even scalping my yard, I finnally just dug out all the bad spots and put down sand. That did the trick. It grew back into the bare spots and it now looks great. You can either click on my profile or click on this link to take a look.

it isn't lame at all! you should be proud of your hard work! your yard looks really gorgeous..such beautiful green grass.
thank you for sharing. (this subject reminds me of my dad and his quest to improve his yard. his next-door neighbor told him about some gardening expert who recommends mixing up weird concoctions that are supposed to help your lawn & garden grow. these mixtures involve combining strange ingredients like dishsoap, urine, beer, etc. so now my dad follows that expert's recipes and advice. one time i was at my folks' house and there was a big container of brown goop in the fridge and my dad said it was a bunch of tobacco juice he was going to spread out on the lawn. weird. but his lawn looks pretty good lately, i must admit...i just don't wanna know the details of what he PUT on it to make it look that way. ) [This message was edited Mon Jul 22 1:10:33 PDT 2002 by AmethystAngelMPLS]

I never thought I would be some yard guy, but when you buy a house you got to. If not then it makes your house look like crap. Thanks for the response.

Sure you can. As long as my wife's home . I have a large screened in patio and today I just finished putting a misting system around it. You wouldn't believe it actually knocks the temperture down by 20 degrees. And in Houston where it's 98 degrees and climbing, that is awesome.

What a beautiful house, congratulations, I know that it must feel really great to own your own home. It's kind of funny that u should post this, because I am working on a campaign for Peter Camejo who is running for Governor of California, and he just gave a speech that talked about "There's nothing like owning your own home, it changes your whole life." So again, Good Luck..and God Bless U.

Beautiful lawn!
I've been busting ass on my yard, too. Cutting down trees and hauling brush all weekend. Not my cup of tea...

That is beautiful. My front yard is suffering from some browning too but it is because of the drought up here. Just one thing though, throw in some wonderful flowers for your wife. Roses are classic.

Exellent Daddyman! The brick/stones u used as border, did u have to use mortor? Or do they sit by themselves? I've been trying to bring my grandmas yards back up to snuff. I should post pics of what I have on my hands
