It's an interesting question because I have NEVER considered Madonna as anything more than an entertainer. She is NOT a musician and truth be told, can't sing very well. Prince will never be Chuck D, but his rapping has never made me cringe the way that American Life rap did. No one has ever embarrassed themselves on record the way that she did there! Kay i think Madonnna only rapped in like 1 or 2 songs? Prince i know has done alot more. That right there shows the better talent  They both shouldnt rap.
