Six degrees of Prince!

i figured since he's had his hand everywhere in this industry and slept with most of the brunettes in show business, its be pretty easy to do this

ok, who's first?

i just thought of this as a friend reminded me of:
a musician who appeared in the raspberry beret video
very short role, totally unrecognizable unless you're looking
who went on to be in a pretty big group u wouldnt relate with prince at all
but they did do a cover of one of his songs.

any ideas?

Bob

well, NewPowerNorth, let's take this topic from another angle:

can anyone out there connect themselves (or a loved one) to Prince in 6 or less steps? smile

6 degrees of separation...

Just resurrecting this thread for a bit of fun.

Can anyone link Prince to say... Calista Flockhart in 6 steps or less?
Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

Garfunkel was in a duo with Paul Simon,
Paul Simon did the "U Can Call Me Al" video with Chevy Chase,
Chevy Chase hosted SNL once with Sheila E. as the musical guest,
Sheila E. did it with Prince.

Hey, this is fun. big grin

Keithy, there's a link somewhere that will help you play this game...

I've linked Prince from Cher to Frank Sinatra to Milos Forman in about 3 or 4 degrees of separation.

Pretty weird.

Damn that Kevin Bacon!

Hmmm. I guess that's as good a guess as any. And one I didn't know about. But the one I was thinking of was totally different. I'll eventually post it before the day is over if nobody figures it out.

Wouldn't it be better to find if there
is a direct link to Prince from ANYONE?

Cher accepted his award (asked by Prince)
in the UK in '97 or '98.

Simon & Garfunkel recorded "A Hazy Shade Of Winter" for their album Bookends in 1968.

The Bangles covered "A Hazy Shade Of Winter" for some movie in the late 80s.

The Bangles recorded "Manic Monday" written by Prince.

A friend of mine met Prince.

Also, another friend of mine's twin sister teaches grade school out in New York. One of her students is Kim Basinger's offspring. Kim Basinger dated Prince.

I like this game.
I mean, like, where is the sun?

Oh I see. Anyhoo, my way was:

Prince worked with The Time members Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who went on to produce records for Karyn White, the daughter of Barry White, who has appeared in Ally McBeal with Calista Flockhart.
